Nestled in the heart of the historic market town of Spalding, Halmer Court care home is a lovingly designed residence offers a spacious and luxurious environment that is highly suited to the needs of older people with care needs looking to achieve a relaxing lifestyle and retirement. The home has 61 single rooms, all with ensuite facilities.

Halmer Court is designated to support older people living with dementia and other related illnesses, and residents who require permanent or respite care in a residential setting. The home provides residential, dementia, and respite care. The home is fully wheelchair accessible and all rooms are linked to a call system when staff assistance is required.

OUR TEAM

Halmer Court senior living facility hosts a team care professionals as well as our excellent cleaning, maintenance, and catering staff. They are led by our home manager and supported by the wider Glenholme Healthcare Group.

Registered Home Manager

Jude is an experienced manager and former NHS nurse with over 23 years of experience in the care industry, specialising in older people care services including dementia care.

I studied at Stirling University and gained an Msc in Dementia Studies in 2010, my passion is working with people living with dementia and looking at new and innovative ways of meeting their expectations and needs; along with maintaining and supporting abilities and aspirations. I look forward to working with the local community to provide the very best care and support for people who will be living at Halmer Court.

Jude and her team staff have undergone extensive checks prior to employment to ensure that they have the skills and qualities we require when working with older and vulnerable people. They are trained in moving & handling, health & safety, food hygiene, basic first aid, abuse awareness (safeguarding), administering medicine, infection control and the care certificate as well as other bespoke training as required.

LIFE WITH GLENHOLME

Before making the final decision to move into Halmer Court potential residents will be encouraged to spend time there to ensure it is the best place for them. A comprehensive pre-admission assessment will be completed which will concentrate on the persons’ needs and wishes.
