Vincent Place is a specialist supported living service which has been developed to enable people with learning disabilities to live happy, healthy, safe lives and to achieve their full potential.

VINCENT PLACE, STEVENAGE

Vincent Place is a specialist supported living service which has been developed to enable people with learning disabilities, including those with autism, physical disabilities and complex needs to live happy, healthy, safe lives and to achieve their full potential. This service aims to deliver individually designed care and support to enable people to lead independent, meaningful lives as active members of the community. We work in partnership with the people we support, their family and friends and will encourage their active involvement, ensuring their views and comments are listened to and acted upon.

Our experienced and well-trained staff provide individualised care and Positive Behavioural Support to promote independence and choice. There is a universal commitment within the whole of Glenholme to treat those we support and their families with dignity and respect.

Vincent Place is a modern gated development built in 2010. Each service user has their own spacious and well-maintained one or two bedroomed flat, providing greater independence and the opportunity to develop life skills. The service also offers access to a spacious warm communal flat where tenants can go if they wish to socialise or need a bit of extra support 24/7. Vincent Place is located in the centre of the community in Old Town Stevenage, meters away from the high street with shops, cafes, restaurants, entertainment and community activities. This ensures service users are able to create positive links with the local and wider community.

Nearby to Vincent Place, is also the Stevenage Town Square which is a 15-minute walk and has hundreds of shops including Aldi, Tesco Extra, B&M, Primark, Starbucks, Post Office, and many more.
