On 14 May, Benjamin at Haddon House fulfilled his long-term dream of visiting Disneyland Paris! Staff at the home supported Benjamin for a five-day holiday in which he got to meet all his favourite Disney characters!
Benjamin was extremely happy to finally meet and take photos with Mickey Mouse, and was delighted to give him a letter which he had been waiting to give him since he arrived in France.
Later that same day, Benjamin watched the ‘Million Splashes of Colour’ parade with staff, which he absolutely loved. He was able to see all of his favourite characters including Simba, Stitch and Buzz Lightyear. Throughout the parade, Benjamin was swaying side to side and singing along to all the songs.
Also on the trip, Benjamin went to see the stage show, ‘Lion King: Rhythm of the Pride Lands.’ He had a fantastic time watching and singing along.
Although he didn’t go on many rides, Benjamin loved walking around the different-themed areas of the park, including the Avengers Campus, Pixar area and Frontierland.
Benjamin had an incredible time at Disneyland, and staff did a fantastic job to support him with achieving his dream!
