Care Home Awards Nominations: Thimbleby Court

With the recent opening of Thimbleby Court, based in Horncastle, Lincolnshire. This new home boasts 58 bedrooms and six retirement cottages, some of which are now at roof level. Most recently, the home was shortlisted for a total of five categories for the Care Home Awards.

• Best for Indoor or Outdoor Communal Spaces
• Best New Care Home
• Outstanding smaller Group Care Provider

This is a brilliant feat for our home, and it was made possible by our hardworking team behind the scenes – a special thanks to them! We’ll be waiting in anticipation until the awards ceremony takes place in June. There’s so much that’s been happening at Thimbleby Court since opening. The home welcomed its first guests, there have been various activities to engage in, including gardening, board games, and various arts and crafts. This week will also be the first-ever community-based event and viewing open day for the cottages.
