Residents and staff at Bispham Gardens were surprised by a virtual GEM award recently. Jodie Cox was recognised as a Glenholme Employee of the Month (GEM) for her work to ensure all residents of the home have video contact with their relatives at this difficult time. She has also played an invaluable role in keeping the activities programme going in the home.
Fiona Nicolls, manager at Bispham Gardens, nominated Jodie telling us “She is a ray of sunshine and nothing is ever too much trouble. She always puts others first and never grumbles. A definite GEM.” This was the first time a GEM award has ever been given virtually, speaking over Microsoft Teams, Kent Phippen said “It gives me great pleasure to recognise Jodie’s hard work in keeping loved ones connected. I look forward to being able to congratulate her in person before too long”.
