During the lockdown, our elderly care home Holdingham Grange setup a special postbox to accept mail for residents from members of the community along with a sign encouraging people to post letters or pictures from adults and children. We are happy to report that the response was amazing.
The residents had dozens of cards and letters to go through and last month they all enjoyed responding to what had been received. Residents have written to those who left addresses on the cards. Residents and staff would like to thank everyone involved in the making of the lovely cards, pictures and gifts sent to them. It has made them smile and they have enjoyed keeping busy writing back.
We want to thank everyone from the community who took part in this, it really helped our Holdingham family less isolated during the lockdown.
