GLENHOLME HOUSE, FINCHLEY
This service aims to deliver individually designed care and support to enable people to lead independent, meaningful lives as active members of the community. We work in partnership with the people we support, their family and friends and will encourage their active involvement, ensuring their views and comments are listened to and acted upon. Our experienced and well trained staff provide individualised care and Positive Behavioural Support to promote independence and choice. There is a universal commitment within the whole of Glenholme to treat those we support and their families with dignity and respect.
They have supported access to local services and access to additional therapeutic services such as aromatherapy, music therapy. As part of recovery, we make sure that those we support at Glenholme House have access to our Community Builder Function which includes external vocational placements, college classes, leisure activities, support groups and networks. Glenholme House is a 9 bedroom home with a generous communal lounge, kitchen and garden for shared use. Glenholme House is situated in a leafy suburb of North London close to shops and good transport links.

Glenholme House supported living facility hosts a team of care professionals as well as our excellent cleaning and maintenance staff. They are led by our home manager and supported by the wider Glenholme Healthcare Group.

Kelly has 26 years of experience working in Health and Social Care. Kelly started her career by working closely with people with Learning Difficulties, and then moved on and found her calling in mental health which she started 23 years ago. Kelly has been with Glenholme for the past 14 years and has enjoyed every moment.

I love encouraging and empowering the people we support to gain independence, build upon skills, and see individuals move to independent accommodation and thrive in the community. It is heartwarming when service users call or pop back in with such great success stories.

LIFE WITH GLENHOLME

Before making the final decision to move into our Glenholme facility, potential residents will be encouraged to spend time there to ensure it is the best place for them. A comprehensive pre-admission assessment will be completed which will concentrate on the persons’ needs and wishes.
