Haddon House is a specialist residential care service that has been developed to enable people with learning disabilities, including those with autism, physical disabilities and complex needs to live happy, healthy, safe lives and to achieve their full potential. This service aims to deliver individually designed care and support to enable people to lead independent, meaningful lives as active members of the community. We work in partnership with the people we support, their family and friends and will encourage their active involvement, ensuring their views and comments are listened to and acted upon.
Our experienced and well-trained staff provide individualised care and Positive Behavioural Support to promote independence and choice.
There is a universal commitment within the whole of Glenholme to treat those we support and their families with dignity and respect.
Located in the historic city of Peterborough, Haddon House is purpose-built and comprises three distinct units, comprising generous en-suite bedrooms, a large kitchen, lounges, diners, and bathrooms. The service also has a sensory room that provides a multi-sensory environment with visual, tactile and audible equipment which can be enjoyed passively and interactively. In addition, there is a resource room to help residents with their learning.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US
“Over the course of the past four to five years, you have given him his freedom and independence and helped him regain back his life. It has been incredible for us to see him become more confident, and independent, and really know himself. Your guidance and support through his decisions have been instrumental to what he became, and every single member of the team at Haddon House has been part of his journey.”
– Pauline, Mother of former resident.
