VINCENT PLACE, STEVENAGE
Vincent Place is a specialist supported living service which has been developed to enable people with learning disabilities, including those with autism, physical disabilities and complex needs to live happy, healthy, safe lives and to achieve their full potential. This service aims to deliver individually designed care and support to enable people to lead independent, meaningful lives as active members of the community. We work in partnership with the people we support, their family and friends and will encourage their active involvement, ensuring their views and comments are listened to and acted upon.
Our experienced and well-trained staff provide individualised care and Positive Behavioural Support to promote independence and choice. There is a universal commitment within the whole of Glenholme to treat those we support and their families with dignity and respect.
Vincent Place is a modern gated development built in 2010. Each service user has their own spacious and well-maintained one or two bedroomed flat, providing greater independence and the opportunity to develop life skills. The service also offers access to a spacious warm communal flat where tenants can go if they wish to socialise or need a bit of extra support 24/7. Vincent Place is located in the centre of the community in Old Town Stevenage, meters away from the high street with shops, cafes, restaurants, entertainment and community activities. This ensures service users are able to create positive links with the local and wider community.
Nearby to Vincent Place, is also the Stevenage Town Square which is a 15-minute walk and has hundreds of shops including Aldi, Tesco Extra, B&M, Primark, Starbucks, Post Office, and many more.

OUR TEAM
Vincent Place supported living facility hosts a team of care professionals as well as our excellent cleaning and maintenance staff. They are led by our home manager and supported by the wider Glenholme Healthcare Group.

Kate Clements
Area Registered Manager
Kate is an experienced Area Registered Manager with over 25 years of experience working in the health and social care industry. Kate started as a care assistant in the older care sector including dementia and later progressed into the Mental Health sector assisting with the transitioning and integrating of individuals into the community.
For the last 15 years I worked mainly with Learning and Physical disabilities to include mental health while progressing with my qualifications. I feel this has given me valuable knowledge as progressing through different levels has given me valuable insight to the challenges different roles encompass. I have a ‘can do’ approach, and my passion still encompasses being able to break down barriers and do our utmost as a team that each individual has the opportunity to reach their potential.
Kate and her staff team have undergone extensive checks prior to employment to ensure that they have the skills and qualities we require when working with vulnerable people. They are trained in health & safety, basic first aid, abuse awareness (safeguarding), administering medicine, infection control and the care certificate as well as other bespoke training as required.
