Refer-A-Friend

We are always on the lookout for talented and dedicated individuals to come and join our team. In recognition of this we offer a bonus scheme to existing employees. There is no limit on the amount of people you can recommend.

If an existing employee recommends a friend or family member who is recruited, then successfully completes their screening and first 3 months of employment, you will be paid a £250 bonus in the month following the end of 3 months after the new employee’s start date.

Blue Light Card

As an employee of Glenholme, you will be entitled to subscribe to the Blue Light Card scheme provides those in the NHS, emergency services, the social care sector and armed forces with discounts online and in-store. Blue Light Card also works with small and large companies across the UK to get involved in supporting the Blue Light community by offering our members discounts through Blue Light Card.

They are home of a range of official discounts from large national retailers to local businesses in a wide range of categories including holidays, cars, days out, fashion, gifts, insurance, phones and much more!

Employee Assistant Program (EAP) by bhsf

As a Glenholme Group colleague, you get access to the bhsf Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), which provides you with emotional and practical support if and when you need it on a wide range of issues to ensure you stay healthy at work and at home.

Bhsf has fully trained counsellors and support specialists available 24/7, 365 days a year, and there’s no limit on how many times you can call. Bhsf can also offer you virtual appointments. There is also a wide range of self-help workbooks, advice, and guidance available on their website for those not comfortable discussing their concerns with another person.

GP Helpline by bhsf

For quick and convenient advice and reassurance, you now have 24/7 access to a qualified GP consultation service. No matter how big or small the illness or how serious the symptom, you can call the BHSF GP consultation service and speak to a GP who can provide advice, diagnosis and reassurance on a wealth of medical matters, all at a place and time to suit you.

What’s included?

  • Telephone helpline: Round-the-clock support from a GP, with no limit on consultation time or the number of times employees can call.
  • Video consultations: Face-to-face appointments with a doctor can offer more in-depth advice. Booked initially via telephone, video consultations are available 7 days a week between 08:00am and 10:00pm.
  • Electronic private prescriptions: Our doctors can issue private prescriptions that can be delivered via an online pharmacy directly to an employees’ workplace or home.

  • Convenience: Employees can speak to a GP at any time of the day and night, from wherever they are in the world
    Peace of mind: Issues of all sizes can be discussed in confidence with a doctor

How does it work?

Employees simply call the 24/7 helpline, where they’ll speak to an experienced member of the customer service team who will book either a telephone or video appointment with a GP between 08:00am – 10:00pm (excluding Bank Holidays). One of our doctors calls the employee back at the appointed time and the consultation begins.

With no time limit, employees can speak to a clinician for as long as necessary about any concerns or symptoms.

Health cash plans / Additional Life Cover / Personal Accident Insurance

Alongside our partnered services with bhsf, they also offer some additional services that might be of interest to our staff. You can save money on your everyday healthcare with a Health Cash Plan. Pay a small monthly premium and you can claim cash back on dental, optical and therapy treatments, plus much more. They also offer additional life insurance cover plans if you’d like to top-up and personal accident cover.

Pension Plan

After joining us and receiving your first payslip you’ll be auto-enrolled in our workplace pension scheme with Aviva. You will be able to manage your pension online in MyAviva using your policy number. You can view your pension value, switch funds, change payments and even change your retirement age.

Life Insurance Cover

Once you join Glenholme, you will automatically be eligible to join the life insurance scheme after 12 months of continuous service in our Life Insurance scheme with AIG. The life insurance entitles you to £10,000 and covers you whilst you are an employee with us. You will be emailed a link to sign up for the scheme and enter the details of your chosen beneficiaries. If you want to change your nominated beneficiaries, you can do this at any time by signing into your AIG account. In the event of your death while a member of the scheme, the last nomination you made will be sent to the scheme trustees to help them decide to whom the scheme benefits should be paid. 

Once you have signed up for AIG, you can access your life insurance details and amend your beneficiaries via the link below. 

You must be under 65 years old. Any pre-existing medical condition at the start of employment will be excluded.
